Theresa Levesque

Theresa Hayes Levesque, age 46, retiree of Northwest Florida State College (formerly OWCC) passed away on October 27, 2009 after a courageous 6-year battle with colon cancer.
Theresa was born in Selma, Alabama on February 11, 1963 and was a 1981 graduate of Selma High. After graduation and marriage she moved to Crestview Florida where she began working at Okaloosa Walton College of Niceville where she retired with disability after 20 years employment.
Theresa was preceded in death by husband Donald R. Levesque of Niceville, Florida, father James C. Hayes Jr., of Selma, Alabama, maternal grandparents John and Susie Cochran of Selma, Alabama and paternal grandmother Lillian Hayes of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Theresa is survived by mother Jimmie Hayes Smith, stepfather Cecil H. Smith of Crestview Florida and Uncle Perry Cochran of Selma, Alabama. Theresa also leaves her loving significant other and devoted caregiver of the last 2 years, Carl T. Ragland Jr. of Navarre, Florida. Theresa is also survived by numerous cousins and her beloved Pomeranian, Roxy.
Memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on November 6, 2009 at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home in Niceville Florida. Inurnment will follow in Heritage Gardens Cemetery.

Make checks payable to “Sacred Heart Cancer Services”, in appreciation of the devotion and loving care given by Dr. Ranjith Dissanayake, MD, her oncologist, and his devoted staff over the last six years.
