Sam Edward Taylor departed this life on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Suburan Hospital in Maryland. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Hope Hill Baptist Church in Dayton, AL officiated by Rev. Glen King and directed by Julia L. White Funeral Home.
Sam was born September 26, 1957 in Dayton, AL to the late Deacon Jack and Lula Taylor. Sam was the youngest of four children: Lucy, Walter and Jack, Jr. He grew up a happy child and attended school at the Marengo County Training School. Sam loved football. He attended church in Dayton, AL at the St. Matthews Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School. Sam was always a very strong and positive minded person, which led him to great things in life.
