Myrtle Lawrence age 66 of Selma passed away on Wednesday September 30, 2009. Funeral services were held on Friday October 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Rod Rochester officiating and burial following at New Live Oak Cemetery.
Mrs. Lawrence is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Myrtle House, and her son, Glenn House.
She is survived by her husband, Oliver Lawrence, her children, Sandra Hatcher (Ernest), Christina Hollis (Oscar), Jeff Lawrence (Sharon), Paul Lawrence, and Oliver Lawrence, Jr. (Lynn), her grandchildren, Santana Broadhead, Lance Malone, Ryan Malone, Anthony Strowder, numerous great-grandchildren, her sisters, Mary Jo Losse (Bill), Chris-
tine Anderson, Ruby Teel (Roger), Patsy Sims, and Edna Jean House, her brothers, Elgin House (Dale), Jerry House (Thelma), and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Ronald Anderson, Donald Davis, Ernest Hatcher, Antonius Hatcher, Roger Teel, and Raymond Teel.
The family received friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday October 2, 2009 at the funeral home.
