Mr. James Hal King Sr., age 61, a resident of Deatsville, Al. passed away on September 15, 2009at a local hospital. Funeral services were held on Friday, September 18, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Brookside Funeral Home with Rev. June Jerigan officiating. Interment followed in
Brookside Memorial Gardens. Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Martin King Sr; brother Gilbert Martin King, Jr; and daughter, Agnes Marie King. Mr. King was a member of Millbrook First United Methodist Church. He also served in the US Army during Viet Nam. Survivors include wife of 38 years, Pat King of Deatsville, AL; Brother, Phillip King (Virginia) of Portland, OR; daughters, Billie Jo Island (Barry); Michelle Price (Don) of Covington, GA; Vicky Eddison (Scott) of Locus Grove, GA; Chrisy Pschier (Dwayne) of Greenwood, AR; Tiffany Calhoun (Brent) of Porterdale, GA; sons, James Hal King Jr. “Bubba” of Deatsville, AL; Mike King (Jennifer) of Eufaula, AL; Johnny King (Ashley) of Franklinville, NY; Donny King of Deatsville, AL; Sisters, Shirley Cook of Selma, AL; Kay Fick (Dick) of Ocala, FL: and thirteen grandchildren.
