Audrey L. Smedley, 68, a resident of Millbrook, AL, died peacefully on Saturday
morning, September 26, 2009, at a Montgomery health care facility. Funeral services will
be held on Monday, September 28, 2009, at 1:00 p.m., from the Chapelof Prattville Memorial, with Dr. Travis Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Methodist Church Cemetery in Jones, AL, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Smedley was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who devoted her life to the loving care of her family.
She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. She was also a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Prattville.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Randall Smedley.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Robert Smedley, Millbrook, AL; one daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Ed Smith, Jones, AL; one grandson, Josh (Kayla)Smith; one granddaughter, Noel (Jason) Dawkins; one great-grandson, Kaleb Smith; three sisters, Susie Beardsley, McCalla, AL, Fran Regen, Knoxville, TN, and Ann Grier, Troy, AL; one brother, Robert Atchison, Pleasant Grove, AL, and several extended family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be family members. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m.
