Frances Arnold Mitchell, 87, of Selma, Alabama, died on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at her residence. Graveside services were held Friday, August 28, 2009 at Pineland Memorial Cemetery officiated by Rev. Tom McLemore and under the direction of Rocko Funeral Home. Visitation was held Friday, August 28, 2009 from 9:30 to 10:30 at Rocko Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Mitchell.
Survivors include one son, James R. “Jimbo” Mitchell (Pam) of Selma; one daughter, Lynn Mitchell, of Selma; two brothers, Ben Arnold, Jr. of Centreville and Joe Arnold of Brent; one sister, Dot Mitchell of Brent; 4 Grandchildren, Cynthia Lynn Mitchell, Susan Ray Stinson, Nick Mitchell and Emily Mitchell;1 Great Grandchild, Forrest Stinson.
