Connie Deason Casali, 49, of Centreville, AL, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2009.
She is survived by her husband Gino. Her father, Benny J. Deason and brother, Jody, of Centreville. Grandmother, Annie P. Johnson of Plantersville. Mother-in-law, Rose Casali of Aventura, FL. Two sisters-in-law, Renee Hanna (Pete) of Hollywood, FL and Valee Weaver (Jamie) of Oakland Park, FL. Also, her Beloved dogs (labs) Holly, Molly &Beau, and Isabell (greyhound) and Sam the Bird! Connie also is survived by several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Connie was preceded in death by her loving mother, Doris Pickering Deason. Also grandparents, Raymond &Josie Deason and Allie Morrow Pickering. Also, her beloved labs Katie, Jake and Lucy.
Connie graduated from Cahawba Christian School, Centreville in 1978. She was a graduate of The University of Alabama and also had her Ph.D.
There will be a visitation at Rocko Funeral Home, Centreville, AL on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM, then graveside services at Plantersville Christian Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Because of Connie’s great love for animals, in lieu of flowers, you may make contributions to the Humane Society or your local Humane Shelter. Connie always posted on her e-mails this quote… “ Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.”
