Tipton Leon Burnette, age 85, of Valley Grande, died Wednesday September 2, 2009. Survivors include his wife, Blanche Burnette; sons, Tipton Leon Burnette, II (Carla), and Glenn Allan Burnette, sister, Margie Engellant and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday September 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Stanton, AL with Brother Danny Rasberry officiating and Lawrence Brown Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday September 4, 2009. Mr. Burnette was part of a large family of eleven.
