Samuel O. Dozier, 71, of Selma, Alabama, died August 27, 2009. Services are scheduled for Friday, September 4, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Dr. Bruce Dozier. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memory Garden under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the late James and Jessie Dozier.
Survivors include his spouse, Ethel Rivers Dozier; three sons, Dexter (Archa Nell), Eric, and Carlos (Janie); five daughters, Ethel (Anthony), Helen (Cedric), Pamela, Sabrina, and LaTonga (Gabriel); three brothers, James Porter, Charles (Susan), and Bruce (Catherine); twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; seven brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; seven nieces; and twelve nephews.
