Bobbie King, age 83, of Mayesville, GA, died Saturday, August 29, 2009.
She is survived by her husband, Brooke King; children, Betty Jean Roberts of Montgomery, AL, Melda (Don) Tharpe of Gainesville, GA, Larry Lamar Roberts of Hoschton, GA, special loved one, Dale Gulledge of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Karla (Jeff) Wolfe, Trina Tharpe, Jason (Nikki) Tharpe, Ashli Roberts, Adam (Elizabeth) Roberts; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Leon Murphy of Dacula, GA; sister, Sarah Barron of Dacula, GA; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth King (James Parker) Jenkins of Selma, AL, Henrietta King (Steve) Polk of San Antonio, TX; brother-in-law, William Armfield (Lou) Brooke of Knoxville, TN; several nieces and nephews; and a beloved pet, “Prissy.”
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 31, 2009 at 11:00 AM Tom M. Wages Funeral Service Lawrenceville Chapel. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment at Gwinnett Memorial Park. Tom M.
