Reader does not believe in luck, but in God’s will

Dear Editor,

In my vocabulary the only time my family will use the word “luck” is if we are talking about Luck’s soap, Luckie a name or Lucky Strikes cancer sticks.

A man on TV was talking about being in an accident. He said it was luck the reason he was not paralyzed.

Luck had nothing to do with it. It was by the grace of God he was spared.

Thank God for my nephew Steve Craig’s healing. He was sent to UAB in Birmingham with tongue cancer. He use to smoke and use Skoal.

Big Tommy, a friend, said Skoal should be used for fish bait.

Steve had an operation on his tongue. The lump was cancer. Thank God it had not spread in his mouth.

Did luck play a part in all of this? I shall say, “no way.” God’s will was over all of this.

Ask Steve if he believes in luck. He is like is mama’s sister. There is no such word as luck.

We in our family believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for our healing. Thank God for seeing Steve through his cancer, plus me.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Please read and heed. Ditch and throw the cancer sticks and Skoal away. They are the works of Satan.
