Mr. Arthur L. Brown, 65, of Selma, Alabama died August 11, 2009 at Jackson Hospital. Services are scheduled for August 15, 2009 at 12:00 Noon at the St. Paul Community Methodist Church with the Rev. Edward Dale officiating.
Burial will be held in the East Salem Baptist Church directed by Miller Funeral Service.
Survivors include one son, Kelvin Mitchell; twelve brothers, James, Lindsey, Joe Brown Jr., Allen, Earnest, Watt Grayson, Chester, Cedric, Greg Anderson, Henry Eaton, Roosevelt Boone, and Edward Dale; eleven sisters, Lula Morgan (his devoted caregiver), Williann Smith, Lee Ann Brown, Jackie Harris, Catherine Perry, Bessie Grayson-Warren, Annette Heard, Elizabeth Grayson, Pauline King, Sabrinia King, and Vivian Thomas; five grandchildren, six sister-in-laws, five brother-in-laws, sixty-eight nieces, and fifty-nine nephews. Other relatives include one very special friend and devoted niece, Shirley Morgan; one devoted nephew, Larry Morgan; and one grand niece that was very special to him, Brandie Calhoun.
