Bertha “Nancy” Lewis, 84, of Orrville, Alabama died July 27, 2009 at the Vaughan Regional Hospital in Selma.
Services are scheduled for Sunday August 2nd, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. the Cheerful Baptist Church No. 1 officiated by Rev. Robert Jones. Burial will follow in the Turnip Field directed by Miller Funeral Service.
She is preceded in death by her spouse and parents.
She is survived by four sons, John T. Lewis, Darry Lewis and Larry Lewis all of New York; Charles Lewis (Juanita) of Orrville, AL.; three daughters, Lillie (Bruce) Brock of Jamaica, NY., Geraldine Giles of Brooklyn, NY., and Mary Young of Riverdale, GA.; one brother, Sandy “ Della” Armstrong of Cleveland, OH. Other relatives include twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, and one sister-in-law.
