Mary Emma Anderson, 90, of Selma, Alabama died July 17, 2009 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Services are scheduled for Friday July 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Morten officiating.
Burial will be held in the Fairlawn Cemetery Directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Inc. of Selma.
She is preceded in death by her spouse: Rev. James T. Anderson; parents: Levi and Mary Ella James; and one daughter: Foya Williams; four brothers: Robert, Sylvester, Mark, and David (James); and four sisters: Eva Dee Kennedy, Maggie James, and Dannie Waxton. She is survived by one sister: Catherine Martin. Other relatives include two devoted nieces: Mildred Williams and Barbara Anderson; one devoted nephew: Lee Andrews Kennedy; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
