Frances R. Pomeranz, age 80, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away July 21, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lydia Rorex; brothers, Jack Rorex, Tom Rorex, Charles Rorex, Bud Rorex, Pete Rorex, Bill Rorex and Monk Rorex and sisters, Betty Simmons, Katherine “Sister” Walker and Ruth Phillips.
Surviving Mrs. Pomeranz are her husband, Raymond Pomeranz; sister, Mae Farley and numerous nieces and nephews that she raised as if they were her children.
Graveside services will be Friday, July 24, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jonathan Lambert officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.
A visitation time will not be held.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway Suite 1, Marietta, GA 30067.
