Perry Daniel “Danny” Harvell, age 43, of Selma, AL, passed away July 15, 2009.He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Perry Harvell; mother, Mary Edna Plummer Harvell; sister, Mary Catherine Harvell Gill; and grandparents, Arthur and Catherine Plummer, Charlie and Willie Merle Frazier and Condie and Becky Wilkerson Harvell.
Surviving are his loving wife of 20 years, Kay Harvell and son, Jamie Harvell, both of Valley Grande, AL; father and step-mother, Perry and Edna Merle Harvell of Uniontown, AL; sister, Janie Stockman of Uniontown, AL; mother-in-law, Pat Hudson and a host of other relatives and very special friends from around the area.
Funeral services will be Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Ocmulgee Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Taylor and Rev. Danny Sumerlin officiating. Interment will be in Ocmulgee Baptist Church Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, July 18, 2009 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be John Hatfield, Bruce Adams, Brian Stevenson, George Riley, Tracy Williams and David Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Warren Oil Company.
