Edna Watson

Edna Lou Wall Watson, died July 6, 2009. She was born in Red Bank, Ms. to Edna Mathews Wall and Dr. Thomas Henry Wall, June 17, 1917.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Thomas Frank Watson Sr. She was the third child. Her siblings were her brothers, “T.H.”, Pearsal and Anna Ruth Wall Cranford who are all deceased. Thy came to Scooba about 1922 where Dr. Wall was the local doctor. Preceding her in death also her stepmother, Mrs. Annie D. Wall.
Survivors include her daughter, Martha (Charlie) Maurer of Selma, Sue (Jordan) Cooper of Mobile, Tommy (Miriam) Watson of Scoba, MS., her grandchildren, Mike (Debi) Tolar, Greg (Lori) Tolar, Andy (Lisa) Tolar, Hank Tolar, Alan Cooper, Suzanne Cooper Kimbrell, Chad (Amanda) Watson, three stepchildren; Amanda, Chris-topher, and Craig Watson, also twelve great-grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter and nu-merous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday July 8, 2009 at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Scooba, MS with Rev. Doug Stokes officiating. The family will receive friends at Stephens Memorial Chapel in Dekalb, MS on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. and from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday July 8, 2009.
