Martha Bozeman has announced she’ll seek the 7th Congressional District seat.

The seat is being vacated by incumbent Artur Davis, D-Birmingham, who is running for governor.

Bozeman, a Birmingham native, said, “I believe in putting people first. For too long, too many of our state’s leaders have ignored some very basic human needs. I understand why people feel voiceless and powerless, and I want to help them believe in their government again.”
