Jerry Lane Prince, age 77, of Selma, AL, passed away June 26, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil C. Goddard; second husband, Francis R. Prince and her parents, Clarence and Jewell Piper.
Surviving are her daughters, Leisa Hunter and Karen (Ricky) Peacock; grandchildren, Kimberly (Jason) Hitt and Ashley Cochran; great-grandchildren, Hunter Hitt and Kali Cochran and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Lee Tate officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, June 29, 2009 from 5-7:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Peacock, Jason Hitt, Chris Cochran, Brian Philyaw, Frank Godard and John Perry.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
