Ms. Towanner Grimes, 60, of Selma, Alabama died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Princeton Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 1:00pm at Shiloh Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Joshua Davis. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Darryl T. Grimes and Willie M. Grimes, Jr.
Survivors include one daughter, Shanette Hinkle; two brothers, Barnzelle Strode and Lawrence Hinkle; two sisters, Mary Hinkle and Miriam Zeigler; four grandchildren; and two sons-in-law.
