Rev. Micah Perry, 39, of Selma, AL died June 1, 2009 in Selma. Services are scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2009 at 11:00am at Historic Brown Chapel AME Church. Burial will follow in Fair Lawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Presiding Elder Rev. Ananias Perry, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Reeves Perry; mother, Mrs. Vera Mae Perry; one son, Micah Dewayne Johnson; ten brothers, Richard Perry, Al (Renate) Perry, all of Selma, AL, Curtis (Tulato) Perry of Augusta, GA, Ananias III (Yvonne) Perry of Millbrook, AL, Rev. Isiah Perry, Rev. David (Peggy) Perry, all of Selma, AL, Roy Collins of Chicago, IL, Bradley (Kewonia) Grimes of Fort Hood, TX, Carlos (Kesia) Grimes of Selma, AL, George Grimes of North Carolina; one sister, Patricia Perry (David) Moore, of Demopolis, AL; fourteen nieces; thirteen nephews; eight great nieces; five great nephews; one brother-in-law; and two sisters-in-law.
