LEE, ELIZABETH
Elizabeth M. Zeigler-Lee, 89, died peacefully May 9 in the Perry County Nursing Home, Marion. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, at the Marion City Cemetery on E. Lafayette Street. Rev. Greg Cory will preside at graveside. All family and friends are invited. She was a devoted member of Barrett Road Methodist Church in Selma.
Survivors: sons Joseph (Lan Ying) Zeigler of Crystal River, Fla., and Stephen (Sylvia) Zeigler of Palm Coast, Fla.; sister Lee Johnson of Walnut Creek, Calif.; nephew Ross Johnson, of Walnut Creek, Calif. niece, Julie Usinger, of Felton, Calif; and cousins Fran Pearce and Ginger Wilson of Browns; Bess Weissinger of Birmingham; Susan Weissinger of Nashville, Tenn. and Ken Weissinger of Birmingham.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Ena McMillan of Marion, and by her husbands, retired Navy Commander Joseph Zeigler and retired Perry County Probate Judge David Lee. She is remembered for her abiding faith, constant good cheer, and her many friends. She will be profoundly missed. Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel will be directing.
