Thelma Boozer Glass, age 93, of Thomaston, AL, died Friday, May 15, 2009, at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Glass was born September 7, 1915 in Hugo, AL. She taught school for 38 years primarily the 1st grade in Thomas-ton, AL. She was a member of Thomaston United Methodist Church. Graveside funeral services were held at Thomaston Cemetery on Monday, May 18, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Rev. W. J. Cannon officiating. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Smith of Nashville, TN; her son-in-law, Wayne Smith of Nashville, TN; her granddaughter, Ashley Smith of Louisville, KY; and her grandson-in-law, Gil Potter of Louisville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Merle Glass, her parents, four brothers, and three sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Thomaston Cemetery Fund or to the Thomaston United Methodist Church.
