Ms. Gracie Hale Brown, 55, of Selma, Alabama died Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at her residence. Services are scheduled for Monday, May 18, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at New Shady Grove M.P. Church, Sardis, AL officiated by Bishop B. A. Scott. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
Survivors include sons, Darius (Renice) Hale of Chauvin, LA, Sean Hale of Queens, NY and LaDerius Hale of Selma, AL; daughter, Dominique Brown of Selma, AL; brothers, Daniel, Leroy (Geraldine), Melvin, Joseph, Cecil (Linda), Fields, and Larry (Sherry); sisters, Lois, Ruthie (Gene), Linda, Dorothy (Michael) Smiley, Jamilah (Hasaan) Abdallah, and sister-in-law, Mary; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends, Dorothy Marshall and Margaret McQueen.
