Beatrice Williams “Mom Bea” Mitchell, 87, of Demopolis, Alabama died early Saturday morning, April 25, 2009 at Noland Long Term Care Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jewett Mitchell, Jr.; her parents, Charles and Nena Williams; and her brothers, Luther V. Williams, Lloyd E. Williams, and Fred L. Williams. Survivors include her son, Thomas J. Mitchell, III of Laredo, TX; daughter, Brenda M. (Robert) Key of Selma, AL; five grandchildren, Sharyn M. Mitchell of West Hartford, CT, James B. Mitchell of Laredo, TX, Jaclyn B. Mitchell of San Antonio, TX, Thomas B. Key of Auburn, AL, and Ashley T. Key of Selma, AL; and two great grandchildren, Caleb J. Sessions and Chloe M. Mitchell. Pallbearers include Charles H. Williams, L. Edward Williams, T. Alvin Williams, Thomas B. Key, A.S. Tatum, III, and J. Lynn Thomason. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 29th from 1:30pm -2:30pm at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home Chapel, Demopolis, Alabama with graveside services following at 3:00pm at Demopolis Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Highway 43. The service will be officiated by Rev. Cecil Etheredge and directed by Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home.
