Porter Ward Belcher, age 56, of Selma, died Monday April 27, 2009. Survivors include his wife, Sue Belcher; daughter, Amanda (Chad) Holbrook; sons, David A. Belcher (Billie Jo), P.C. Belcher (Tori); grandchildren, Kristen Ed-wards, Ragen Belcher; great-grandchild, Kennedy Edwards; sisters, Velma Radford (Thomas), Anita Belcher, Barbara Pierce (Tommy), Linda Linley (Jerry) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A church service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday April 29, 2009 at Meadowview Christian Church, 1512 Old Orville Road Selma, AL with Dr. George Wood officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday April 28, 2009 at the church.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Hobby, Ben Cosby, Jimmy Golden, Paul Britton, Will Cosby and Tom Pierce.
