Ms. Vera J. Moore, 74, of Selma, Alabama died Saturday, April 4, 2009 at her residence. Services are scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 2:00pm at New Macedonia Baptist officiated by Pastor Johnathan Shanks. Burial will follow in Summerfield Cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
Survivors include two sons, Roderick Moore, Sr. and Erwin P. Moore;
four brothers, Joel Johnson, William Johnson, Rev. Morris Bowie,
and Tyrone Bowie; four sisters, Esther King, Willa F. Johnson, Gwendolyn Patterson, and Wennoa Peoples; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two
daughters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law.
