Uniontown-Betty Sue Smith, age 74, of Uniontown passed away on Thursday April 2, 2009 at her home. She was a retired seamstress in a manufacturing plant. She loved her family, friends and her Lord. Visitation will held on Friday April 3, 2009 from 6-8PM at Kidd-Robbins. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Kidd-Robbins with Rev. Jeremy Barrett and Rev. Earl Pike officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Baptist Cemetery in Brierfield, AL.
She is survived by: Husband: Jimmie Smith; Son: Dale Cranmore (Brenda) of Selma, AL; 3 Daughters: Joyce Ranier (Ronnie) of Monroeville, AL, Kay Qureshi (Farooq) of Cheraw, SC, Faye Pike (Earl) of Foley, AL; 3 Sisters: Ada Richey of Tampa, FL, Rita Latham (Sonny) of Prattville, AL, Edna Edwards (Elmer Clanton) of Montevallo, AL; 2 Brothers: Milford Smith (Penny) of Lakeland, FL, Charles Smith (Barbara) of Monroeville, AL; 18 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren.
Active Pallbearers will be Jason Danley, Jamie Cranmore, Wade Rainer, Ronnie Rainer, Rollie Rainer and Jay Edwards. Honorary pallbearers will be Milton Smith, Michael Smith and Todd Rainer.
