Sewage problems in city should be addressed first

Dear editor,

I’m making this comment about the Valley Grande sewage problem. I to understand how awful it can be to have to deal with stinky raw sewage. I awoke in the middle of the night only to find my bathroom flooded with human waste and foul smelling water. In the process of buying a home from Selma Habitat I found out that they ran my sewage line through my backyard, into my neighbors yard attached it with there and a third neighbor. Since then I have had constant problems. Whenever they clogged up their side it backed up into my bathroom and yard. I went to talk to Nina Capp at the Habitat office only to be told there is nothing they could do neither would the city do anything .My question is to Mayor Evans. Why would the city of Selma want to help Valley Grande with there sewage problem and will not help one of its on citizen? Whom, I may add, didn’t know that Habitat selling two houses with the sewage line put in the wrong way? Mayor Evan Please respond to this.
