Steven Lee Rainwater, age 59, of Selma, AL, passed away March 25, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Leveda Davis and Sidney and Naomi Rainwater; father, Herbert Rainwater and a son, Daniel Rainwater. Surviving are his wife, Carol Rainwater; mother, Frances Rainwater; son, Rodney Rainwater; daughter, Stephanie (Jeff) Crawford; sisters, Linda (Bobby) Busby and Karen (Steve) Mott; grandchildren, Ashley Anders, Laiton Crawford, Shelby Crawford and Nick Buss and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Duke officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, March 27, 2008 from 6-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Benny Willis, James Small, Bubba Dozier, Mike Brady, David Moore and Steve Moore. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Banks, Mike Chandler, Billy Bennett and Allen Jatko.
