Lucy Mae Green, age 87, of Statesville, N.C., died Saturday March 21, 2009. Survivors include her children, Katherine King of Mobile, Raymond (Caroline) Green of Clanton, Sheila Wilson of Selma, Sharon (Albert) Meynardie of Selma, and Ronnie (Amanda) Green of Statesville, N.C.; twelve grandchildren, Matthew (Brooke) Meynardie, Shelley (Dennis) Estes, Jonathan Green, Rachel Green, Randy Green, Wayne Green, Keith Green, Danny (Miranda) Green, Jennifer (Jared) Chance, Billy Wayne (Terra) Day, Darice (Joe) Guerra, and Cheryl (Scott) McCain; and seventeen great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday March 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Reverend Robert Byne officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
