Theodore Carter, 78, a resident of Dallas County, died March 19, 2009, at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services will be Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Hodrick Robinson. Burial will follow in the Elmwood cemetery under the direction of Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Inc.
He is preceded in death by parents Rosie Hampton and Jasper Carter; two sons, Reginald Carter and Willie James Williams; and brother Jack Carter.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Debra (Frank) Roller of Selma, Ala.; and Vanessa (Greg) Henley of Alpharetta, Georgia; two sisters, Eva Lu Franklin of Birmingham, Ala., and Louise Perkins of Selma, Ala.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
