Lawrence William “Larry” Edwards, 88, of 5702 Turnbull Road, Fayetteville, NC, died Sunday, March 22, 2009.
Mr. Edwards was an Air Force veteran. Before retiring, he worked with the Bush Hog Implement Co. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Edwards of the home; daughters, Sharon Detwiler and husband, Ross, of Bridgewater, CT; Lauren Vanden Heuvel and husband, Greg, of Kansas City, KS, Cicely Watson and husband, Joe, of Fayetteville, NC and Jo Ellen Taylor and husband, Jack, of Colorado Springs, CO; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be con-ducted Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at 1 p.m. in Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. John M. Peverett officiating.
The family will receive friends from noon to 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Healthkeeperz Hospice, 1830 Owen Drive, Suite 10, Fayetteville, NC 28312.
