Ms. Laura “Penny” Blythe, 66, of Selma, AL died Monday, March 16, 2009 at Jackson Hospital, Montgomery, Al.
Services are scheduled for 12:00 noon Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Miller Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by Rev. Rodney Morton. Burial will follow in Elmwood cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
Survivors include one son, Raymond Blythe; three brothers, William (Catherine) Jenkins, William Blythe of Birmingham and Johnny (Sharon) Blythe of California; two sisters, Gladys Blythe and Wilmer Reynolds; two grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, two brothers-in-laws; two sisters-in-laws; twelve nieces; ten nephews; a special aunt, Ethel Mae Slaughter of Theodore, Al and a special cousin, Florence Strong of Selma.
