Percy Bonner, 85, of Dallas County, Alabama died Friday, March 13, 2009 at his home. 770 County Rd. 257 Selma, Al., 36703.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday March 21, 2009 at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Frank Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood cemetery under the direction of Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Inc. Survivors includes four sons, James (Elleane) Bonner of Calumet Park, Ill., Fennigan (Pearl) Bonner of Selma, Oliver Bonner of Selma and Bobby Joe (Linda) Bonner of Lithonia, Ga.; seven daughters, Mary (Matthew) Charles of Selma, Clara (Horace) Pope of Selma, Barbara Acoff of Selma, Berlinda (Greg) Acoff of Dothan, Annette Sharpe of Selma, Cecelia (Gus) Rose of Calera and Elizabeth (Scotty) Cass of Aviano Air Base, Italy; one sister, Frances Harville of Selma; thirty grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
