Carrington Allen Pickens Sr., age 40, of Collirene, AL, died Sunday March 15, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother; Rebecca Spivey Pickens and his brother; Thomas Rex Pickens III. Survivors include his sons; Carrington Allen Pickens Jr., Kenneth Spivey Pickens, father; Thomas Rex Pickens and his sister; Elizabeth Pickens Nelson.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday March 19, 2009 at Collirene Community Cemetery with Reverend Elwood Sims and Reverend Travis Barnes officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at the Pickens Family Home from 9-10 a.m. Thursday March 19, 2009, 501 County Rd. 9 Collirene, AL. Pallbearers will be Rusty Slate, Kelly Bryan, Wyatt Roberson, Mark Dorriety, Joshua Dorriety and T.J. Jarrell.
