Jeffrey Laine Blackmon, age 37, of Selma, died Wednesday March 11, 2009. A chapel service will be held Saturday March 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral home with Reverend Alan Yarborough officiating. Burial will follow at The Blackmon Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday March 12, 2009 at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Willard and Olla Blackmon and Bill and Jean Carter. Survivors include his children; Sydney and Savannah Blackmon, parents; Albert and Charlotte Blackmon, brothers; Jerre (Kerri) Blackmon, Joshua (Michele) Blackmon and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Adam Blackmon, Russell Blackmon, Brian Blackmon, Roger Blackmon, Ryan Blackmon, Chris Kaldor, William Skinner and Jerry Ware.
