Lernice Molette

Mrs. Lernice Molette was born on March 15, 1929 to the late Mr. Beaver &Texie Gulley. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Friendship Baptist Church, Minter, AL. She later became a devoted member of Selmont Baptist Church, Selma, AL. She leaves to cherish her loving memory five sons, Theodis Stokes of Montgomery, AL, Angelo Stokes of Selma, AL, Freddie Molette Sr. of Dallas Texas, Matthew Molette of Selma, AL, and Lawrence Molette of Tampa, Florida.
Six sisters. Arrie Belle Rodgers of Montgomery, AL, Hattie Irby of Selma, AL., Susie Brown of Selma, AL. Texanna Howard of Montgomery, AL. Vonceille (Willie James) Pernell of Montgomery, AL and Annie Sanders of Cleveland, OH. , one step-daughter Lettie Jackson. 1 brother. Jessie (Jean) Gulley of Montgomery, AL.
Fifteen grandchildren. Victoria &(Anthony) Hardy, Courtney Wilson, Amber Stokes, Kachavias &Felecia) Rodgers, Ronald Shaw, *Latrecia Nickerson, Cassandra &(Donald )Crusoe, Jr., Ke’Oddis Stokes, Cornelius Stokes, Freddy Taggart, Freddie Molette,II., Darus &(Timaya) Molette, Shantrese Molette, Tiffany Henry, and Stephanie Molette.
Twenty-two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was also a former member of The Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her only daughter, Rosemary Dudley. 2 sisters, her twin, Bernice Carmichael and Bertha McTier. 2 brothers, Booker T. Gulley, and Henry Gulley.
