Meadowview fell to Southern in a six-inning game ended by darkness.

Mark Englett hit a three-run double to plate three runs and lead the Trojans to an early 5-0 lead over the first two innings, but errors and walks doomed the Trojans from there.

Southern took advantage of two walks and four Meadowview errors to take a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the third inning.

Meadowview retook the lead at 7-6 on a fourth inning J.R. Lowe double that scored Randal Hamilton. Southern responded with a double, single and double to score the winning runs in the bottom of the inning.
