Oda Drinkard

Oda Moseley Drinkard, age 87, of Selma and formerly of Uniontown, passed away on Friday February 13, 2009 at her home. Graveside services will be held on Monday February 16, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown with Rev. John MacLauren and Rev. Larry Potts officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Ms. Drinkard was a faithful employee of Cane Brake Loan &Trust when she retired after 45 years of service as the Assistant Vice President.
Ms. Drinkard is survived by her son, William David Drinkard (Cathy) of Selma, her daughter, Shirley Stanley of Selma, her sisters, Betty Wilson (Jimmy) of Starkville, MS, and Irma Caldwell of Akron, AL, her grandchildren, Sherri Stanley of Birmingham, and Shannon Drinkard of Centreville, step-granddaughter, Candace Lanier (Dylan), two step great-grandchildren, Wade and Eastyn, a former daughter-in-law, Reba Drinkard, and a close friend, Chris Harris. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Moseley, Ricky Moseley, Walter Moseley, Donald Owens, Stanley Owens, and Jerry Sorrells.
The family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Uniontown.
