John Fitzgerald Miller,a local retired pharmacist, age 82 of Selma passed away on Saturday February 7, 2009 at his home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday February 10, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Dr. Ronald E. Stone officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Cheryl Carter Miller, his daughters, Nancy Lynn White (Van), Susan Ann Newton (Bill), Gail Denson Deyampert (Bill), a son, Lewis “Bo” Chappelle (Raquel), his nine grandchildren, Lawson White, Matthew White, James Deason III, John Nichols, Amelia Nichols, Sam Deyampert, Taylor Deyampert, Jared Chappelle, and Eli Chappelle, and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday February 9, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
