Melzena King, 77 of Marion Junction, AL died February 2, 2009 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 12:00 Noon at New Shiloh Baptist Church, Potters Station officiated by Rev. D. M. Moore. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Brothers Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert King.
Survivors include two sons, Leroy (Ann) King and Jesse (Sarah) King; seven daughters, Johnnie Mae Barnett, Fannie Parker (Sam), Dianne (Fred) Daniel, Lucy (Kenneth) King, Bernice (Tracy) James, Linda (Johnston) Delaine, and Celesta (Kelvin) Jones; three brothers, Joseph (Johnnie Mae) Lewis, Jonas (Mary) Lewis, and Willie James (Rae Alice) Lewis; and one sister, Ruth Ann Carter.
