Mr. Alfred C. Johnson, age 103, of Selma died January 23, 2009 at Park Place Nursing Homes. Services are for 1:00 PM Saturday January 31, 2009 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. James Allison officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
Survivors includes four sons, Willie James Johnson of Anniston, Leon (Corine) Johnson of Detroit, MI., John Johnson and Charles (Inez) Johnson of Selma; two daughters, Parilee (J.D.) Cobbs of Selma and Sadie Alexander of Detroit, MI.; forty grandchildren, seventy five great grandchildren, fifty one great-great grandchildren, ten great-great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and guardian of a grandson, Marvin Alexander; Special Thanks to the Staff at Park Place Nursing Facility.
