Mattie Lee Crocker Harris, age 71, a resident of Valley Grande, AL, passed away January 28, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lummie and Alma Stone Crocker and a brother, J. L. Crocker.
Surviving are her husband, Sidney E. Harris, Jr.; sons, Sidney E. “Chuck” Harris, III and Charlton (Renee) Harris; daughter, Martha Jean Harris; brother, George William (Joyce) Crocker; sisters, Margie C. Morton, Sue C. Clements and Carlene (Jimmy) Cook and grandchildren, Jessica, Ivey and Whitt Harris.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Fancher officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Danny Harris, Mark Harris, Michael Crocker, Adam Mitchell, Andy Dearman and Jeff Fancher. Honorary pallbearer will be Lee Harris.
