Janie Moses Sharpless, 94, of Selma died Saturday, January 17, 2009 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at St. Margaret’s of Oakwood Cemetery in Montgomery, AL. She is survived by her niece, Eva Moses Jones; great nephews, Donnie Moses, John Pilcher, Jody Pilcher; great nieces, Mary Pilcher and Emmie Pilcher Jernigan.
