Allen Amos “Al” Pugh, age 83, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away January 17, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Issac Pugh and Ruby Nichols; brother, Roy Pugh and sisters, Louise Stroud, Alice Hill and Velma Cobb.
Surviving are his wife, Euna Pugh; sons, Glen (Nile) Pugh and Bruce Pugh; daughters, Brenda (Leonard) Chapman, Patricia Smith and Joyce Pugh; sisters, Elma Hicks, Bessie Cobb and JoAnn (Jesse) Mott, grandchildren, Chris (Fiona) Wilde, Valerie (Quince) Chapman, Larry Pugh Bailey, Rachael (Todd) Wilson, Jennifer (Brandon) Wilson, Jason (Angie) Chapman, Angela (Casey) Kilgore, April (Henry) Helms, James (Wendy) Smith, Daniel (Angie) Smith, Tracy (Jonathon) Pitts and Charity Smith and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed. Byrom officiating. The family will received friends at the funeral home Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from 6-8:00 p.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens.
