Carl “Carl Lee” Fails, 53, of Selma, AL died Friday, December 26, 2008, at Vaughan Regional Hospital.
Services are scheduled 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 3rd at East Salem Baptist Church with Rev. W. J. Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Church under the direction of Miller Funeral Service. Survivors include his three sons, Chudy and Cameron Moore of Detroit, MI, and Carl Brown of Selma, AL; four daughters, Chiffon and Cornelius Moore of Detroit, MI, Kelsey and Mercedes Brown of Selma, AL; a granddaughter, Mariah Moore; six brothers, Jerry Fails, Murray Fails, Andy (Shirlean) Brown, Markus (Corine) Brown, all of Selma, AL, Nathaniel Fails of Montgomery, AL, and Melvin Fails of Atlanta, GA; six sisters, Diane (Jimmie) Steel, Jacqueline Boyd of Decatur, AL, Nina (Larry) Smart, and Carolyn (John) Brown of Selma, AL, Mary Brown, of Pensacola, FL, and Jamie Anderson, of Columbus, GA.; a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives include close devoted friend, Dorothy Martin, special mother, Margaret Martin, three step- grandchildren, and a host of aunts and uncles.
