James Williams 56, formerly of Selma died Dec. 7, 2008, at his home in Dallas, TX.
Services are scheduled for Friday Dec. 12 at 11:00 a.m. in Dallas, TX, and on Monday Dec. 15, 2008 in Selma, AL at the Church of Christ In Prayer 1604 Lawrence St. at 12:00, with the Rev. Reginald Wells officiating and Lewis Bro. Funeral Home Directing.
He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Linda Faye Williams (Maurice) Cole of Portmouth, VA, and Jamie Williams of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren, Jamie Manley, Nickalas Cole of Portmouth, VA, and Landon James Williams of Dallas, TX; five brothers, McArthur (Majesta) Williams, Phillip Watkins, Jesse Watkins, Leo Watkins Jr., all of Selma, and Dexter (Katisha) Watkins of Alberta, AL.; father, Leo Watkins Sr.; sister, Linda Watkins Hunter; one adopted brother, A.C. Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. His mother Rosie L. Watkins and brother John H. Williams Carmichael preceded him in death.
