Mr. Oscar Lee Polnitz, 80, of Selma, AL died Tuesday, November 9, 2008 at Vaughan Regional Hospital.
Services are scheduled for 12 noon, Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Sandridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Milton Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Home Service.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Polnitz of New York and daughter, Marie Polnitz. Survivors include three sons, Oscar Polnitz, Jr of Wangdash, New York, Pettus Polnitz of Pritchard, AL and Sulton Polnitz of New York; one sister, Naomi Craig of Chicago, Ill; other relatives include loving and devoted nieces, Jennie Johnson of Selma, Bernice Polnitz of Selma, Barbara King and Frances Sharp of Columbus, OH.
