Samelia L. Woodson, a resident of Selma passed Nov. 26, 2008 at a Montgomery hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday Dec. 3, 2008 at 12 noon from the Reformed Presbyterian Church with Pastor Thomas Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memorial Garden with J. H. Williams &Sons Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Woodson was preceded in death by her parents and her husband the late Coleman N. Woodson, Sr.
Survivors include one daughter, Velma (Alton) Brooks of Douglasville, GA; four sons, Coleman N. (Deloris) Woodson, Jr. of Montgomery, AL, Bertram (Regina) Woodson, Sr., Averette (Essie) W. Woodson, Sr., and Gregory (Aretha) A. Woodson all of Selma; two sisters and one brother, Emma Richardson, Barbara Dorris and James (Katie) Matthews, all of Marietta, GA, sisters-in-law Marguerite Kahn of Selma and Mary Louise Marsh of Fairfield, CA, 17 grandchildren, seven great grand-children and a host of other relatives and friends.
